Granny Square a Week-Week Seventeen

This is my birthday week! Hurray! On April 24th, I was the big 3-8. In honor I chose this pattern since it is named after one of my most favorite things:

Kitten's Claw by Margaret MacInnis

Cats!

This square seems complicated but it is pretty easy if you follow the pattern carefully. And it does work up pretty quick. And I advise you to not put it down and come back, try to do it all in one sitting.

My notes:
On round 3, the total number of stitches you should have on one side is 11.
Oh round 4, the total number of stitches you should have on one side is 15.
On round 5, you will make 3 single crochets in the corners.

I stopped after round 5 since it was about the size I needed.

Here they are: my first one looks wonky, I think because I put it down and came back to it (which is why I advise to do it all in one shot!). The second is in my favorite color combination outside of red and turquoise, light pink and aqua.

Done with Vanna's Choice in Pink and Aqua

Until Next Week!!
